Trash

Trash is collected on Wednesday mornings. Trashcans are supposed to be kept out of the alleys before 6.30pm on Tuesdays and after 6.30pm on Wednesdays. For issues with trash collection or cans, call 311 or visit 311.dc.gov

Parking

Most blocks in Stronghold have residential parking signs, which permit residents with Residential Parking Permit (RPP) stickers (available from the DMV: http://dmv.dc.gov/service/residential-parking-permits) to park any time, except during street sweeping days. Cars without RPP stickers can park for a maximum of 2 hours between the posted hours of 7AM-8:30PM weekdays.

North Capitol Street and the unit block of Michigan Avenue generally do not have these RPP signs because they are emergency evacuation routes and further have the weekday 4-6:30PM rush hour parking restriction.
